Conveyor Mechanical, Safety and Conveyance Checklist
by Tomasz Gawron, from the Community
Use this checklist to validate conveyor installation, mechanical integrity, safety guarding, side guides, alignment and appearance. Verify drives, pulleys, belts and tension, torque settings, motors and gearboxes, and lubrication. Check photo eyes, speed, belt tracking and accumulation pressure. Confirm product flow, edge alignment, diverting performance and gravity sections. Record serial numbers and measurements, ensure no overheating, leaks or excessive noise, and that equipment meets layout, direction and racking specifications.
