This Snuggledown Naturals inspection checklist supports quality and safety in natural pillow and quilt manufacturing. It covers PPE compliance, hearing protection, safe walkways, and clear identification for first aiders, agency staff, and fire wardens. Fire safety checks include signed, unobstructed exits, accessible and tagged extinguishers, and evacuation maps. Machine safety covers fixed guards, interlocks, and emergency stop access, with attention to motors free from fibre or feather build‑up. Electrical safety includes locked cabinets, panel clearance, PAT status, and cable integrity. Workplace controls assess pedestrian routes, segregation between forklifts and people, driver pre‑start checks, seat belts, horns at blind spots, lighting, housekeeping, shadow boards, and secure storage. Additional checks review footwear, eye protection, equipment and taps switched off, acceptable dust levels, and other environmental issues.
