Use this comprehensive site assessment checklist to evaluate exterior appearance, interior housekeeping, and safety compliance across tire shops and retread plants. Inspect parking areas, signage and windows, showroom and office organization, evacuation plans, OSHA 300 logs and postings, MSHA tracking, PPE training, forklift and technician certifications, and fire extinguisher placement and tags. Review service bay practices, tool condition, spill control, eyewash stations, electrical panels and cords, and customer access. Audit warehouse railings, walkways, lighting, and dock plates. Check mechanic and alignment shop housekeeping, guarding, chemical storage, ventilation, and eyewash. For retread operations, cover general shop cleanliness, curing rims, monorails, pressure chambers, buffers and builders, safety interlocks, relief valves, gauges, and labeling to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
