This comprehensive site inspection checklist helps you assess health and safety across an operational site. Review policies, insurance and documentation, emergency procedures and inductions. Verify RAMS, safe working procedures, training matrices, toolbox talks and competency. Evaluate traffic management, banksmen, welfare facilities, first aid and identification of first aiders. Check mobile and static plant pre start checks, examinations, guarding, E stops and PPM. Confirm PPE and RPE suitability, face fit testing, signage and safe working at height with edge protection or fall arrest. Validate lifting plans and equipment certification. Manage CoSHH assessments and storage. Monitor environmental controls including odour, noise, litter, spill kits and pest control. Inspect site infrastructure such as roads, walkways, lighting, fencing, drainage and building condition. Ensure electrical safety via PAT and fixed wire certification. Review housekeeping, racking, waste management, site security, fire alarms, extinguishers, muster points, supervision, welding equipment and LEV.
