This Principal Contractor site inspection template helps teams assess construction site safety and compliance. It covers policies and insurances, inductions and sign-in, RAMS and safe systems of work, supervision, toolbox talks, traffic management and banksmen, mobile plant checks and certifications, lifting plans and equipment, welfare and first aid, PPE and RPE including face-fit, hand and power tools, dust extraction, working at height, signage, excavations and buried services, COSHH management, environmental controls (noise, odour, litter, spill kits, pest control), site infrastructure and lighting, electrical safety and PAT testing, housekeeping and waste, site security, fire safety and muster points, and an overall performance summary. Use it to identify non-compliance and drive corrective actions.
