Lighting Tower Final Inspection

Use this lighting tower final inspection checklist to confirm the unit is ready for service. Tasks include replacing fuel and air filters, checking oil and hydraulic levels, cleaning filter housings and pre-cleaners, inspecting the Murphy gauge, draining and sealing the fuel tank if needed, tightening alternator lids, exhaust clamps and flange bolts, and securing wiring with ties or P-clamps. Verify wheel chock cables, trailer wiring, brake line routing, and limit switches. Run the unit for two hours, adjust the engine if hunting, bleed the cooling system, and inspect LED light harnesses, earth straps, and fuel banjos for leaks. Capture notes, photos, and mechanic sign-off on completion.
