This install sign off checklist guides technicians through upgrading from legacy VX680 or V240 devices to VX820 or P400 payment terminals. Record PTIDs and serial numbers, capture the IP address, and document removal details of the old devices. Add photos of the finished install, data points, connections, and power. Note any new PDQ switches installed and photograph them in the comms cabinet. Perform end to end testing for transactions and refunds, attach receipt photos, and confirm all terminals display the Ready screen. Capture site details, list any issues, specify collection or return of old devices, and complete engineer and manager sign off.
