Use this pre certification checklist to prepare AV-enabled rooms for handover. It covers applying labels to racks and gear boxes, protecting wiring with heat shrink and RJ45 boots, securing Phoenix connectors, installing rack fans, and setting speaker taps and amplifier gain. Confirm display configuration, disable unused inputs, label inputs, enable quick start, and level all mounted devices including displays, cameras, touch panels, and room schedulers. Organize cable management behind displays, under tables, and in gear boxes. Test end-to-end video and audio signal flow and all room functions. Finish by cleaning the space, placing end user cables, locating and storing remotes, recording the final room name or number, adding a photo of the room, and confirming readiness for certification.
