This restaurant visit checklist helps teams review front and back of house standards and food safety in one pass. Inspect exterior entry, interior and seating, display fridges and POS readiness, staff uniforms, and current menu, allergen cards, and certifications. Verify expo and kitchen cleanliness, waste oil handling, FIFO dating, temperature logs, freshness of saladette items, use of timers, utensil hygiene, fryer cleanliness, and sanitized food-contact surfaces. Confirm procedures for handwashing, glove changes, sanitation, approved utensils, and product prep to GDK specifications. Check stock levels and defrosting, boxes made, and readiness for today and tomorrow. Test equipment including POS, delivery platforms, grills, toasters, meat shavers, scales, probes, CCTV, guest Wi‑Fi, music, fly control, AC, and fire systems. Complete admin checks: staffing and scheduling, banking, signed checklists, daily game plan, and required logs.
