This refresher training covers the essential aspects of responsible alcohol service in Western Australia, including liquor laws, handling intoxicated or disorderly patrons, and preventing alcohol sales to juveniles. By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with Western Australia's Liquor Control Act 1988 and their responsibilities as authorised persons. They will learn how to recognise and manage drunken or disorderly behaviour, including signs of intoxication, and how to prevent and refuse service to intoxicated patrons. Participants will cover procedures for preventing alcohol sales to juveniles, inspecting both hard copy and digital IDs, and identifying false IDs, all while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and avoiding discrimination.
