This Health and Safety quarterly audit checklist helps hotels, restaurants, and mixed hospitality sites assess critical controls across kitchens, back-of-house, laundry, and office areas. Items include lighting and slip or trip hazards, safety footwear, fire extinguishers and service dates, chemical storage with MSDS and COSHH training, correct stacking and storage heights, sharp-edge and electrical socket checks, first aid kits and eyewash, spill kits and procedures, signage, and PPE availability. Kitchen-focused checks cover LPG shutoff labelling, fire suppression nozzles and pull points, ovens, fryers, hoods, gloves, pastry equipment, and meat-processing machines like slicers, mincers, and bone saws. Facility checks include trolleys, detectors, sprinkler clearances, emergency shutoffs, laundry equipment and lint filters, dry cleaning machines with risk assessments, cable management, office ergonomics, emergency exits, and evacuation procedures.
