This kitchen site visit checklist is designed to support food safety and kitchen operations audits. It helps supervisors and auditors verify labelling procedures, allergen documentation, and controls, check for cross contamination risks, and ensure cleanliness across benches, floors, KP areas, and under-bench spaces. It includes prompts to confirm working handwash facilities, availability of sanitiser and degreaser, and blue roll. Inspectors can assess staff uniforms, appliance condition, fridge and freezer hygiene, the use of up-to-date food safety management systems and clean-as-you-go checklists, and adherence to dish specifications, including tasting before service. Sections cover venue details, responsible personnel, urgent issues, positives and improvements, and sign off.
