Use this professional checklist to assess the safety and performance of electrical catering equipment. Capture job details, asset IDs, make and model, and equipment location. Inspect mains cable, plug and socket condition, lamps and covers, control switches and contactors, control knobs, thermostat calibration, motor and heating elements, and internal wiring. Review water tank or steam generator scale, filters, earth bond integrity, and incoming supply voltage. Add photos, notes, and parts required, then complete sign-off by a qualified catering engineer.
