Brand Standards Assessment Checklist 2020
by Vinodh Bahuleyan, from the Community
This brand standards assessment checklist helps restaurants evaluate the full guest experience and operational quality. It covers drive thru performance including greeting, order accuracy, confirmation screens, service speed, and friendly farewells. Food quality checks include fry and protein temperatures, burger build, beverage standards, packaging, and order accuracy. Back of house quality reviews staging, holding temperatures, grill and fryer practices, oil quality, prep readiness, breads and saucing. Dining room criteria include greeting times, total service time, guest focus, uniforms, cleanliness, ambiance, and kitchen visibility. Exterior standards assess signage, lighting, building condition, windows, parking lot, sidewalks, landscaping, menu boards, and drive thru lanes and service windows. Training systems verify certifications, leadership, staffing, workstation deployment, and current promotion readiness.
