Back of House Cleanliness and Compliance Checklist
by Mike Graveson, from the Community
This back of house cleanliness and compliance checklist helps pubs and restaurants keep non customer areas clean, safe, and compliant. It covers cleaners cupboards, general downstairs areas, cellar landings and office corridors, staff toilets, offices, staff rooms and changing areas, upstairs cleaning cupboards, corridors, and bin storage. Each section prompts checks such as tidiness, sweeping and mopping, stocking of chemicals and supplies, equipment condition, and access control. Use the sign off declaration to confirm corrective actions and email the completed report to the pub, with copies for office records and the downstairs cleaning cupboard.
