Use this weekly AED inspection checklist to verify your automated external defibrillator is present, accessible, and ready for use. Confirm the device is in the correct location, check readiness indicators, and ensure critical items are available and in date, including spare battery, AED pads and spare pads, pocket mask, small towel, scissors, and razor. Capture site details such as location and model, note any issues, and record corrective actions. Include checks for training AEDs if applicable, and sign off to maintain compliance records and audit trails.
