This AED monthly check record helps teams verify that automated external defibrillators are ready for use. Inspect unit location and condition, confirm rescue kit items like gloves, razor, scissors, towel, towelettes and CPR mask, and ensure electrodes are attached. Check pad and battery expiration dates, cabinet alarm functionality, and the device status indicator shows OK. If replacing pads or batteries, power on the unit to run a full self test and confirm readiness. Add notes, photos, and additional comments to maintain compliance and emergency preparedness.
