Use this AED monthly check template to verify that your automated external defibrillator is ready for emergencies. Inspect device location, cleanliness, case or cabinet, rescue kit contents including gloves razor scissors towel wipes and CPR mask, electrode pad seals and expiry dates, cabinet alarm function, status indicator OK or green check, electrode connection, and battery condition and expiry. Capture serial numbers photos and signatures, log replacements and self test results after installing new pads or batteries, and note corrective actions and follow up.
