Weekly Gym First Aid, Defib and Panic Checks
by Paul Shillaker, from the Community
This weekly checklist helps gyms verify first aid and emergency readiness across the facility. Inspect first aid kits on the gym floor and in the staff room for required supplies, confirm AED/defibrillator powers on and shows no issues, test disabled pull cords for proper installation and function, and call to test all panic buttons at key locations including the entrance, outside changing rooms, ladies-only area, and squat racks. Use this template to maintain compliance, improve response preparedness, and protect members and staff.
