Quality and Clinical Audit Checklist (JCI-Aligned)
by Michael Robert Mamorno, from the Community
This Quality and Clinical Audit checklist helps healthcare teams assess compliance with JCI standards and International Patient Safety Goals. It covers patient identification, medication management and use (MMU), safe surgery and site marking, fall prevention, crash cart and defibrillator checks, medicine fridge controls, equipment PPM, and quality controls such as glucometer QC and sterilization indicators. It also includes information management (MOI) requirements for confidentiality, security, and records handling. Sections for root cause analysis, corrective actions, SBAR handovers, KPI awareness, occurrence reporting, sentinel events, and audit attendees support consistent documentation and ongoing quality improvement.
