Linen Management Audit for Care Homes
This care home audit template helps teams assess linen management and storage practices to reduce infection risk and maintain quality. Inspect separation of clean and used linen, ensure all linen is stored off the floor, and confirm appropriate use of water soluble bags for soiled or infected items. Verify staff wear disposable gloves and aprons when handling soiled linen and that reusable bags and rigid containers are kept clean. Check room cleanliness, condition of floors, walls, and fixtures, and remove inappropriate items from clean linen stores.
