This monthly AED inspection checklist helps verify that your automated external defibrillator is ready for emergencies. Inspect the device for visible damage, confirm the battery indicator shows sufficient charge, ensure electrode pads are sealed and within expiry, and check spare pads as required. Verify essential accessories are present, including towel, razor, CPR face shield, scissors, gloves, and paperwork, which may be stored with a nearby first aid kit.
