Steam Generator Post-Installation Inspection
by Art Stephens, from the Community
This post-installation checklist helps verify the quality and safety of a steam generator install. It guides inspectors through staged verifications: visual fit-and-finish, photos, and damage remediation; placement, leveling, seismic anchoring; and utility checks for cold and DI water, electrical, drains to floor sink, steam and condensate, and chemical lines. Final checks include leak verification during operation, testing the steam bypass function, capturing comments, and obtaining sign-off with name and position.
