This electrical utility inspection checklist covers pre job planning and underground power distribution work. It includes checks for OUPS marking, flagger needs, special equipment, mats and off road access. Field items verify primary and secondary trench minimum depth of 36 inches, level bottoms, and adherence to approved routes. Conduit checks include correct size and schedule PVC or HDPE, sweeping bends with a maximum of 360 degrees including risers, and pull strings installed. Box pads and switch boxes are confirmed at approved locations and to specification. Meter base inspections confirm permits, correct wiring, riser pipe and coupler, absence of obstructions to the service run, and proper grounding. Results are recorded with inspector sign off prior to backfill and job approval.
