This factory acceptance test checklist supports commissioning of Siemens Energy 8VM1 66kV switchgear used in wind turbine generators for the East Anglia 3 project. It covers visual inspections, correct labeling and rating plates, earthing, cable compartments, and SIPROTEC mimic diagrams. Functional interface tests to the wind turbine controller include power supply at 230V AC and 110V DC, local and remote operations, circuit breaker commands, three position drives, gas alarms, trip signals, supervision, and auto reclose checks. Secondary injection tests for relays 7SR45 and 7SJ85 verify protection settings, inrush restraint, and earth fault functions. Primary injection confirms trip performance. Additional sections validate the fault passage indicator, voltage detection system, and mechanical and electrical interlocking against drawings.
