Wind Turbine Safety Inspection (WTG) Checklist
by Sebastien Beckord, from the Community
Use this WTG safety inspection checklist to assess wind turbine components and site readiness. It covers access units and rope systems, jacket or GBF cleanliness, service and davit cranes, ladders, cameras, and tower areas including doors, hatches, fire extinguishers, service elevator, PPE for HV switching, gas levels in switchgear, first aid kits, IP phones, safety boxes, ladders and platforms, and lighting. In the yaw area and nacelle, it checks for oil or grease leaks, hoist and crane function, ABB switchgear operation and noise, housekeeping, eyewash, rescue devices (SKED, Milan), and emergency equipment. Ideal for routine turbine audits to enhance safety and compliance.
