Use this Essential Energy pre-operational inspection to confirm vehicle and plant safety before field work. The checklist covers truck roadworthiness (registration and labels, lights and reflectors, towing equipment, NHVAS label, tyres, permits and documentation, air, fuel and fluid systems, chassis condition, cabin housekeeping, windscreen, mirrors, wipers and washers, brakes, and travel height signage). It also includes plant visual checks (fluids, housekeeping, signage and MSDS availability, loose or missing parts, in-date fire extinguisher, spill kit, first aid kit, electrical test currency, structural integrity, and lights). Functional tests verify outriggers and stabilisers, alarms and indicators, safety switches and interlocks, platform and base controls, slew brake, and emergency controls and retrieval systems. Acknowledge CEOM7039.10 regarding contact with live conductors, record defects with risk level per HIRAC, capture hours and photos, and sign off.
