Use this DN-08a checklist to safely disconnect a steel service bend from a metal gas main. Steps include Voltstick checks, isolating the ECV, removing wrapping, fitting a temporary continuity bond, applying denso tape or mastic, cutting and sealing to minimize gas release, plugging and earthing the hole, leak testing with approved fluid, removing the bond once gas free, handling standpipes when removal is not possible, sealing abandoned service ends, and confirming only intended properties are isolated. Includes PPE requirements and sign-off fields.
