Playground 3-Month Inspection Checklist

Use this quarterly playground inspection checklist to assess access and pathways, cleanliness, seating and fencing, gate latches and hazardous waste. Review surrounding vegetation for debris and overhanging deadwood. Inspect structures for stability, graffiti, corrosion, and sound foundations. Check components including seats and tyres, bolts and rails, platforms and sandpits. Identify sharp projections and splintering timber. Verify mechanical parts, chain and rope wear, and connections. Confirm drainage, soft fall depth and hazards, and synthetic grass condition. Record findings, add photos, and assign corrective actions.
