Use this playground safety visual inspection checklist to document a fast walkthrough of parks and play spaces. Capture a site photo, verify access and entrances, check litter and general tidiness, assess ancillary items such as fencing, seating, signage and toilets, and look for vandalism or graffiti. Review trees and shade structures, evaluate safety surfacing and edging, and visually inspect caps, bolts and other parts. Record defects, add comments, attach photos, and apply a simple risk matrix to prioritize corrective actions.
