It covers policy visibility, site rules for visitors, smoking restrictions, safe access and egress, and application of safety rules. Emergency readiness includes fire extinguisher condition and tagging, fire protection testing, emergency drills, exit routes, and lighting. First aid readiness checks trained first aiders, stocked kits, and incident reporting. Classroom and workplace items include flooring, clear traffic routes, wheelchair access, cable management, lighting, and spill response. Additional sections cover working at heights, furniture and fixtures, COSHH controls and SDS, electrical safety and PAT testing, DSE awareness and self-assessments, manual handling and LOLER, environmental controls such as waste segregation, temperature, noise measurement, and a final summary of issues.
