School Cleaners Skills Training Evaluation

Use this post-training evaluation checklist to assess school cleaning staff competency. Review skills such as cloth folding, microfibre dusting (low/high), damp dusting, waste handling (general/recycled/contaminated), toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, consumables restock, floor vacuuming, extraction (Hydromist), wall and spot cleaning, mopping, furniture and blinds, food prep areas, concrete, external racks, graffiti removal, and bin cleaning. Verify safe chemical and manual handling and correct PPE use. Capture comments and sign-off by employee and facility manager. Schedule retraining within 2 weeks if gaps are identified.

New Cleaning Staff Task Training Assessment
Use this 14-day training assessment to onboard new cleaning staff and verify competency across routine tasks such as vacuuming, dusting and polishing, damp and spot mopping, bin removal, spray cleaning, dry buffing, flat mopping, stain removal, moving furniture, and machine scrubbing and drying. It also covers specialist skills including wall washing, floor polish stripping and application, bonnet mopping, and extraction cleaning. A medical sites section includes procedures for bed frames, curtain rails and replacement, sluice rooms, sinks, tap descaling, medical equipment, and pharmacy cleaning.
