Stage 1 Inspection Checklist

This Stage 1 inspection checklist helps construction teams verify critical pre-roof elements before progressing to superstructure. Items include chassis and deck setup, coach bolts secure to chassis, boarding per specification, first-fix plumbing, pressure tests pre-decking and deck down, radiator pipework location and size, hot and cold lines defined, open ends sealed, and flow and return identified. It also covers timber condition and fixing points, center lugs alignment, and key dimensional checks: openings are square and to drawing, internal and external walls are square, level, and plumb, ceiling line is level, and locations match supplied drawings. Post-roof readiness items such as Velux and window liners, fireplace fitted and boarded, cuts and halvings, wall plate condition, and general workmanship are included to ensure quality and compliance at the first build stage.
