Verify electrical safety, traffic management separating people and plant, and that plant and equipment are fit for purpose. Check excavations for inspections, shoring, and gas levels. Confirm permit-to-work systems and competent personnel for activities such as gas testing, excavation, crane operation, and shot firing. Assess fire safety points, alarms, safe access and egress, housekeeping, lifting equipment including cranes and pile rigs, confined spaces, storage of materials, signages, and harmful substances. Use photos and comments to document findings and record overall results for each item to drive corrective actions and compliance.
