This scaffold design brief template helps clients and temporary works teams specify safe, compliant scaffolding. Capture scope of use, trade access, erection and dismantling sequences, platform loadings, boarded lifts, loading bays, point loads, and internal edge protection. Document foundations, base bearing pressures, leg-load spreading, and stability methods including ties, anchors, buttresses, and kentledge. Include roofing and covers, sheeting or brick guards, and access options such as staircases and ladder bays. Record additional items like hoists, gantries, chutes, lighting, and protective fans. Note site-specific risks, design category, checks, inspections, and NASC guidance references to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
