This Procon dilapidation survey checklist helps project teams and property managers record existing site conditions before construction works. Inspect external areas such as approaching and internal roads, gates, fencing, grassed areas, carparks, pathways, paving, and services. Check internal areas including ceilings and grids, walls and plasterwork, doors and ironmongery, flooring and entry points, service hatches, fire stopping, and existing containment and clipped services. Capture photo evidence of damage, note defects like potholes, kerb and surface damage, sunken areas, stains or tears in floor finishes, and marks or scrapes on surfaces. Document miscellaneous items, describe issues clearly, and collect sign off from the premises manager or caretaker. Use this template to provide a clear record of conditions to help manage responsibility for any subsequent damage.
