Pre Handover Checklist

Use this pre handover checklist to verify key services and finishes before client sign-off. It covers external rainwater goods and taps, boiler flues and condensate, ASHP installation, compression fittings and lagging, neat pipework at the kitchen sink, cylinder cupboard labeling and insulation, correct heating pressure, and hot water temperature. Inspect radiators and towel rails for level, TRV placement, and tight valves. Check sanitaryware for level, leaks, secure fittings, and service valves; test bath overflow and TMV temperature; verify showers, trays, doors, and silicone seals. Confirm loft SVPs connect to tile vents and are above insulation. Use this to reduce defects, capture issues, and streamline commissioning and handover.
