This post install electrical checklist guides installers through final verification of a solar and battery system. Capture pre and post installation photos, document DC and AC cable entries with adequate waterproofing, record inverter, battery, meter and dongle serial numbers, and confirm clearances and safety labels. Verify consumer unit connections, grid meter and CT clamp orientation, and document test results including impedance, earth fault, fault current and insulation resistance. Confirm compliance with BS7671 and MCS, complete documentation and customer handover, and ensure the site is clean and safe.
