PMR Health and Safety Site Inspection Checklist
by James Ross, from the Community
This PMR health and safety site inspection checklist helps site managers assess compliance on active construction sites. It guides reviews of worker inductions, task specific risk assessments and method statements, worker competencies such as CSCS and CPCS, and provisions to reduce manual handling. It covers working at height controls including scaffold tagging, excavation protection and daily inspections, plant and equipment checks, and appropriate PPE use. The checklist also prompts verification of serviced fire extinguishers, available first aid and trained first aiders, housekeeping of storage and access routes, and adequate welfare facilities. Use it to standardize inspections, identify issues for management, and maintain a safe, compliant site.
