Use this Site Inspection Report template to standardize construction site inspections and improve compliance. Capture site details, headcount, and general safety observations; verify signage, access, housekeeping, welfare, first aid, and fire precautions. Review documentation including risk assessments and method statements, COSHH, daily plant and MEWP inspections, LOLER and scaffold reports, PUWER, excavation checks, and site safety inspections. Assess temporary works controls, inductions and training (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS/CPCS, IPAF, PASMA, asbestos awareness, manual handling), material storage and spill response. Evaluate working practices such as work at height, lifting operations, access equipment, electrical testing, excavations, and permits for hot works and digs. Confirm PPE issuance and use, RPE fit, and occupational health controls for HAVS, dust, and noise. Conclude with comments, assigned actions, and sign-off.
