This pavement site validation checklist supports onsite inspection of periodic rehabilitation projects. Record site details including location, GPS, SRRS and KM start–end, the existing surface and aggregate size, extent of cracking and patching, nearby assets and structures, and intersecting roads. Define proposed and alternative treatments, and document lane and shoulder elements with dimensions and quantities. Assess risks and required communications, stacksite details, pavement marking replacements, and desktop condition data such as PCI, texture, cracking, roughness, rutting, deflection, traffic and speed. Capture other assets including table drains, culverts, kerb and channel, pits, guard rails, barriers, signs and medians, with condition, size and treatment needs. Add photos, sketches and signatures for submission.
