Use this monthly boom check checklist to inspect cranes or concrete pump booms and keep equipment safe and compliant. Capture site, date, unit number, machine type, and inspector details, then assess chassis, PTO and hydraulic motors, outriggers and safety locks, substructure, main structure, and the turning and slew systems including limit switch and one side support. Verify boom assembly alignment and greasing, and check each boom stage for cracks, secure clamps, leaks, locking plates, and safety pins. Attach photos, note defects, and sign off.
