This on-site safety checklist helps construction teams perform a thorough pre-start review of site conditions and worker readiness. Verify written safety programs and SDS, confirm employee training and completion of JSA or JHA, and ensure first aid kits, eye wash stations, and fire extinguishers are in place. Check required PPE such as hard hats, eye, hand, and foot protection, plus protective clothing and gas detection. Cover heat illness prevention, housekeeping, and emergency evacuation planning. Record equipment and operator certifications for forklifts, aerial lifts, confined spaces, rigging, cranes, and fall protection, including fit testing and CPR/First Aid credentials.
