This TBC daily safety walk checklist helps supervisors and crews verify critical site safety items each day. It covers general conditions, project signage and notices, OSHA posters, written safety program availability, SDS manuals, emergency evacuation planning, and required warning signs. Inspect first aid supplies and certified responders, personal protective equipment including eye, head, foot, fall, ear, and hand protection, and the placement and condition of fire extinguishers. Review housekeeping, material storage, and trip hazards. Check openings, guardrails, and fall protection; ladders and access; MEWPs and aerial lifts; air compressors; welding and cutting permits, screens, and extinguishers; and electrical cords, lights, GFCIs, and panels. Assess machine guarding, hand tools, and impalement hazards. Verify mobile equipment, forklifts, excavators, cranes and rigging, and hoisting practices. Evaluate excavation and shoring, competent person presence, access, inspections, and crossovers. Include powder actuated tools, confined space controls, underground construction requirements, liner car checks, and silica controls. Finalize with inspector name and date.
