This checklist supports pre-use and periodic inspections of fall protection equipment, including safety harnesses, lanyards, and pole straps. It guides users to record identification details, manufacturer and serial numbers, manufacture and withdrawal dates, and next inspection dates. Inspect hardware such as D-rings and buckles for corrosion, cracks, or distortion; check webbing and stitching for fraying, cuts, burns, chemical damage, or pulled stitches. Mark pass or remove-from-service outcomes and capture notes and corrective actions to maintain compliance and worker safety.
