Use this subcontractor site inspection checklist to review site safety, housekeeping, waste disposal, and public protection. Verify COSHH storage and handling, spill kit availability, and controls for noise, dust, fumes, and vibration. Check first aid provisions and in-date fire extinguishers. Confirm asbestos awareness and safe systems of work. Assess electrical safety for 240v/110v tools, PAT testing, cable management, and generator condition. Evaluate lead contractor responsibilities, PPE compliance and CSCS cards, eye/hearing protection, and emergency PPE. Inspect machines, drilling rigs, lifting equipment, LOLER certificates, and hand tools. Record performance, neighbor impact, overall tidiness, leaks, contract management items, NMPI forms, toolbox talks, and sign-off.
