This electrical fit off audit helps verify residential or commercial installations before handover. It covers pre site readiness, switchboard integrity and labelling, correct protection with circuit breakers and RCDs, insulation resistance testing, and busbar installation. Inspect exterior and interior fixtures for correct placement and height, straight and flush finishes, working GPOs and lights, IP rated switches where required, and adequate clearances from sinks and gas meters. Confirm smoke detectors are interlinked with fresh batteries, ceiling penetrations are neat, warnings for recessed lights are in place, and the site is clean.
