Use this brick and blockwork checklist to assess quality and safety on site. Review setting out and bond, line, level, plumb, and gauge. Confirm full joints and correct pointing, correct mortar mixes and batching, clean and correct cavity widths, proper location of ties, insulation, and DPCs. Verify openings and lintels, cavity trays, and protection of materials and completed work. Record mortar cube samples, check cleanliness of the face, and prepare the area for following trades.
