This in-process control checklist supports quality assurance for asphalt paving and road construction. It guides forepersons through pre-commencement checks (surface condition, set levels, existing levels, weather and air temperatures, site dilapidations, and plant readiness for roller, bobcat, and paver). During works, it covers material verification, ticket logging, delivery and laying temperatures, level control by layer, and binder/tack coat application. On completion, it prompts final surface inspections, level and falls checks (including flood testing), housekeeping and damage checks, plant clean-down and servicing, and documentation. Signature fields, comments, non-conformance reporting, and additional works sections are included to ensure traceability and compliance.
