House/Apartment Plumbing Final QA Checklist
by Michael Millington, from the Community
This residential plumbing final QA checklist helps verify house and apartment installations before handover. Inspect the boiler or HIU cupboard for commissioning, testing, stopcocks, inhibitors, scale reducers, and correct tundish and waterless trap installation. Check kitchens for taps, correct hot/cold orientation, wastes, dishwasher and washing machine connections, and flood testing. In bathrooms, confirm toilets, basins, showers, and baths are installed, level, connected, and flood tested, with traps, fillers, and valves operating correctly. Review radiators for fitment, level, TMVs, and performance. Document drawing references, flat details, capture photos, and obtain required site foreman signatures for completion and compliance.
